100% pure tree bark that has been triple shredded to a very fine texture. This mulch is dyed to a deep black color using FDA approved colorants that will not harm your soil, plants, or pets. Because the bark is darker than hardwood to begin with, it retains its rich color longer than our traditional hardwood mulch. Additionally, the natural bark adds much-needing nutrients to your soil as it breaks down.
